Superfood for Kids!



You might wonder about the age limits of superfoods, its boundaries and limitations. But, good news to everybody because all foods included in the superfood list are good and consumable for everyone! You can be an adult and you can eat sueprfood, you can be a kid and still consume superfood, or you can be an elderly and still eat these healthy superfoods. But first, let’s focus on kids’ health because this might be the most crucial stage in one’s life.  Now, if you ought to know which superfoods fits perfectly for kids, well, here they are.

The truth is, kids must eat healthy foods included in the superfood list every day, as much as possible, every meal. This is because kids are at a crucial stage in life wherein their body needs an extra ton of nutrients to support their growth; another thing, their bones, muscles, internal organs, and brain are still developing. So for all mums out there, you should at all times keep the following foods ready right in your pantry.



Sweet potatoes.  Aside from the obvious fact that sweet potatoes, or preferably called yams, are pretty much very affordable or cheap, these extraordinary tuberous roots are packed with the very nutrients that could support and strengthen kids’ immune system and growth as well. The best thing about this superfood is that mums can prepare it in more ways than you can imagine and your kids will surely love the versatility. The main nutrients involved in sweet potatoes are Vitamin C, fiber, and potassium.  These are the best nutrients that can strengthen your kid’s immunity and digestive tract. Tomatoes. Tomatoes or most kids would love to call these ketchup. Yes, the good thing about tomatoes is that it comes with its other versions or preparations such as the children’s favorite ketchup, which possess the power of getting most kids to eat any food with ketchup on it. If you’re one of the few parents who won’t allow their kids to develop a habit of putting ketchup in every food they eat, well, you should probably change that philosophy because this sweet red liquid could make your kid’s heart very much healthy. The abundance of lycopene in tomatoes can protect your child from cancer and fortifies their cardiovascular system at such early age.




Blueberries. These might be the smallest and most powerful food in the planet for its unending health benefits. The main benefit you’ll get in these flavorful berries is their antioxidants which helps cleanse you child’s system and cross them off the list of children with cancer and other diseases.  It is recommended that parents should incorporate blueberries in their kids’ diet as early as possible, so that they’ll get used to eating it and soon enough, they wouldn’t want a day to go by without munching a whole bowl of blueberries.
